It was reported by officials that in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, on July 27, 2024, a car accident occurred at the Daksum area which took lives of eight family members including five children.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, killing all eight members of a family including five children.
Dead include policemen, two ladies and minors aged between six and sixteen among others they said.
Officials confirmed that while traveling from Kishtwar to Marwah via the Sinthan Top on July 27th, their vehicle skidded off the road before plunging into a gorge at Daksum.
The entire family perished in this incident.
