Pictures Show Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, Zindagi Gulzar Hai Duo, Coming Together Once Again for Web series Shandur
Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed won people over with their performances in Zindagi Gulzar Hai are coming back in upcoming web series Shandur. A thrilling tale is set against breathtaking landscapes in this upcoming Indian OTT platform SonyLIV project.
According to Express Tribune, Khan will depict a polo-loving prince from Chitral, Pakistan. He even took lessons on how to play polo to bring authenticity into his role. However, the character of Saeed remains undisclosed thus adding more excitement to the project.
The show also boasts an incredible team of directors and scriptwriters. Umera Ahmed a writer with mesmerizing storylines has penned down the script while Asim Raza who worked with Khan on Behadd directs it. Something Haute made this information public via its YouTube channel.
The ensemble is further enriched by Mikaal Zulfiqar and Hira Khan so as to ensure a well-rounded viewing experience for everyone. The film was shot at various locations both within Pakistan as well as in UK where one of the highlights is going to be majestic Shandur Top – world highest polo ground at 3,700 meters above sea level. It appears that shooting began in Chitral at end April and lasted until mid-May when Fawad left for Italy to shoot his Netflix project. Fans’ curiosity was further aroused by a glimpse of the team filming in Chitral as shown by makeup artist Adnan Ansari’s Instagram post .
Khan and Saeed have been involved in four projects together with two more lined up namely Barzakh for Zindagi and Netflix’s first Pakistani original Jo Bache Hain Samait Lo.
