Another laughter riot in the making is Housefull 5, which will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and acting as the comedian throughout the entire franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, production for this movie will start late August with a London schedule followed by an exciting cruise-based shoot. The main cast consists of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, and Abhishek Bachchan. According to Pinkvilla’s reports another addition to their team is Fardeen Khan. After Heyy Babyy this reunites the trio of Akshay, Fardeen and Sajid Nadiadwala.
“The trio of Sajid Nadiadwala, Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan are back after Heyy Babyy for Housefull 5,” said a source close to the development to them. “Fardeen has been given a fun-filled part in it and is quite excited about it too because he gets to work with Akshay again right after they finish Khel Khel Mein which has not come out yet.” The addition of Fardeen could have been anyone including Arjun Rampal but from what we know now that person happens just happened to be Fardeen Khan,” a source revealed. Interestingly, Fardeen also stars opposite Akshay Kumar in Khel Khel Mein.
While all male leads are in place, actresses for leading roles are being considered. The makers are targeting popular actresses who can fit into the existing star ensemble of actors. This movie will see some major changes happening in it as it unfolds on a cruise ship with comic chaos taking place thereon.“One episode brings down a house inside a cruise ship; it’s a comic thriller. Housefull series with its latest release was intended to create comedy of different kind,” added our insider.
To achieve this ambitious timeline between August to November 2024 for shooting and June 6, 2025 for release. Akshay Kumar before the Housefull 5 is expected to complete twenty days shoot of Welcome To The Jungle in Mumbai and Kashmir.
