Ajay Devgn’s video of Son Of Sardaar 2 shoot beginning in the UK has gone really viral and proved there will be a sequel to the action comedy. Another horror film, Shaitaan (2024), also had its second part begun by the makers, Parami News has discovered. It hence turns out that Ajay Devgn is the only Indian actor who has been part of as many as eight franchises, which are films.

“The writing for Shaitaan 2 has just started,” a source told Parami News. After the script is ready, then it will be up to Ajay Devgan and his producers when they want to start shooting it. The first part was one of the biggest hits of the year and critically acclaimed well. Following this, they are clear that they would require time to write their script properly so that everything goes smoothly but not otherwise.
The source went on, “With Shaitaan 2 and Son Of Sardaar 2, Ajay Devgn has become India’s sole actor headlining most successful series’. Different genres including comedy, romance, drama or even action have featured in all these movies.”
On top of these films were Golmaal (4 films), Singham (2 films including his appearances in Rohit shetty’s cop universe films Simbaa and Sooryavanshi), Dhamaal (3 films with appearance of Ajay in third part called Total Dhamaal), Drishyam (2 films), Raid (sequel expected to release this year), De De Pyaar De (sequel to release on May 1st 2025), Son Of Sardaar and Shaitaan.
“Franchise movies internationally have gained popularity among fans who look forward to seeing their favorite stars returning into iconic roles. Ajay Devgn walks on this path showing up in his franchise movies which are always successful. In addition to this, full throttle work is going on for Drishyam 3, and the formal announcement will be made once all modalities are worked out.
