After an eight-year break, Fawad Khan is set to make a comeback to the Hindi silver screen. The actor will co-star with beautiful Vaani Kapoor in an upcoming romantic comedy marking his much-anticipated return. For cinephiles who have been yearning for Fawad’s presence onscreen, this news comes as good tidings. Something was missing after he appeared in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil of 2016 and it would never be easily filled. His upcoming project is rumored to be with Vaani Kapoor, which is based in London.
Fawad Khan maintained a secretive stance concerning his future during a recent interview published by Bollywood Hungama on 20th July this year. When asked about his next film, he smiled mischievously without giving any details. He said, “Baatein ho rahi hoti hain. Again, kuch concrete hoga toh main zaroor aapko bataunga, aapke saath share karunga.” Kis tarah main chhupa sakta hoon?”
The movie details remain concealed but sources close to the production company have confirmed that it will start shooting early September in London’s picturesque city. Also Bollywood Hungama reported that Eastwood Studios’ first international project which was only shot in UK marks their debut together as Vivek B Agarwal (formerly Reliance/Phantom) Devang Dholakia (film industry veterans) started the film making company.
Vivek previously worked on Queen, Udta Punjab and Super 30 amongst others along with Netflix’s first from India- Sacred Games which became an international hit on the platform.

The makers were looking for a very fresh cast where Fawad falls in love with a beautiful Indian girl and Vaani fits the bill,” adds the source.
However, Fawad Khan last appeared in Money Back Guarantee as well as Ms. Marvel, which is Pakistan’s highest-grossing film ever made The Legend of Maula Jatt.
Fawad Khan has many projects coming up. First is Barzakh by ZEE5 and Zindagi that will be globally released on July 19th.Next in line will be Shandur, seemingly on SonyLIV. He also has Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo which will be Pakistan’s first Netflix project.Furthermore, he is producing and acting Neelofar with Mahira Khan.
