Varun Dhawan’s sister’s daughter Anjini Dhawan has debuted in films with Binny And Family, which was scheduled for a release today on August 30. Today, Bollywood Hungama has learned of the release date being pushed forward.
A source told Bollywood Hungama that “Binny And Family is now being moved back to September 20. The authors made it mandatory that the writers take a decision in unison. They are richly appreciative of the followers who fen out at the test screenings of the film. Those from the industry who watched the movie have also been very generous of the content of the movie and the actors performances just about every aspect. Therefore, the producers understood that it is essential to consider the best time of the release. After the research, they understood that 20th September is the correct date and that is how the new release was set.”
It now remains to be seen when the trailer of the film will be unveiled. An industry expert commented “Interestingly, Grandparents’ Day will fall on Sunday, September 8. Since the film also centers around the girl and her grandmother and grandfather too. It will be a handy time for the makers to promote the movie.”
Apart from Anjini Dhawan, the film also features Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, Naman Tripaathy, Charu Shankar and is written and directed by Sanjay Tripaathy. It is a co-production of Mahaveer Jain Films and Wavebrand Productions. It is distributed by Balaji Telefilms of Ektaa R Kapoor and Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
Binny and Family will now release with Yudhra. It tells the story of the British director of Mom (2017) ‘Ravi Udyawar’ starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal. And is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. The first look posters were released yesterday and they appear to suggest that Yudhra will be a blood-filled action packed drama.
There is also a more interesting point too. There is also a Balaji Telefilms movie which is set to release in September – The Buckingham Murders. Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and also Kareena Kapoor Khan are the ones who made this film. The talented actress also stars in the film in a lead role. Hansal Mehta is the director of the murder mystery.
