In a corruption case linked to what is being referred to as an excise scam, CBI has charged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. A Delhi court on Tuesday extended the period of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial custody until August 27 in a graft case lodged by the CBI against him over the alleged scam.
Kejriwal’s custody was prolonged for another period by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja after he appeared through video-conferencing before the judge following exhaustion of his earlier detention under judicial custody.
On 27th August, possibly during consideration of additional supplementary chargesheet filed by Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) against Mr. Arvind , it would be appropriate if we could discuss it.
