Renowned for her intense performances, she steps into the shoes of the past PM capturing the intricacy and will power associated with him during some stormy times in Indian history.
The movie clip hints about a subtle approach that looks at personal and political struggles faced by this leader during this 21 months long emergency period from 1975-77 in which civil rights were suspended and India declared a state of emergency across.
