LCCI Hyderabad will be the company’s second capability centre in India and expected to open in mid-2025. It will drive innovation and technological advancement, the company said in a release on Thursday. The first LCCI in the country is in Bengaluru and launched in 2016.

“Our teams in India play a pivotal role in driving Lilly’s global business support with centralised, scalable solutions. LCCI Hyderabad will enhance our technical capabilities, enabling us to better meet growing business demands, fully leverage technology in our operations and further expand our presence in India,” LCCI Hyderabad managing director Manish Arora said.

The investment underscores Hyderabad’s growing reputation as a hub for healthcare innovation and talent, IT and Industries Minister D.Sridhar Babu said.

The company said it plans to employ 1,000-1,500 highly skilled professionals, including technology engineers and data scientists and recruitment for the new site is underway.
