Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
On June 21, The Directorate of Enforcement took a decision to approach the Delhi High Court in challenging the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on bail following money laundering relating to alleged excise scam.
The ED’s counsel has moved the HC seeking an order for stay of that bail granted by a trial court on Thursday, saying he was denied full opportunity to complete his argument by the trial court.
It may be mentioned in the High Court shortly for urgent hearing.
Mr. Kejriwal had been arrested by ED on March 21 following refusal by Delhi High Court to give him an interim protection against arrest in his petition challenging summonses issued against him.
