Responding to a query, he said that he has never celebrated his birthday and today is a special day for him as it is a day of democracy.
“This is a day when people come out and express their likes and dislikes by voting. In this way, it is a very special day,” he added.
The saffron party has as many as 625 candidates in its field, including Union ministers and Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay Kumar ) and senior leader Etala Rajender, while the Congress fielded BRS turncoats Danam Nagender and K Kavya, among others.
Asaduddin Owaisi is seeking re-election in the party’s stronghold of Hyderabad and is running against Madhavi Latha, a political novice of the BJP who has fought a A fierce election campaign.
