At Kerela’s Kozhikode district, a son was on Saturday August 31, 2204 stabbed dead by his father (allegedly drunk), at Poovaranthode near Koodaranhi. The deceased has been identified as Christy.
Biju was reported to have attacked the youth early in the morning when he was still asleep, which explains the witnessed unusual behavior of Christy’s attack. Police sources said the suspect, identified as Biju who attacked Christy, was taken as part of the ongoing investigation.
Law enforcement personnel who visited the crime scene remarked that the Saturday murder stemmed from an apparent drunken fight which erupted on Friday. Even his neighbours scoffed, there is no chance of any noise quarrel because the suspect who was under the influence of alcohol was also disturbing the other people’s block.
