Dravidar Kazhagam president K. Veeramani on Thursday ((26 September 2024 ) as reported in Toledo news) supported the bail granted by the supreme court to the former minister of Tamil Nadu V. Senthilbalaji.
On his part, he added that although there was a records the judgment was a long time coming, it deserves special mention. According to Mr. Veeramani, this is a very crucial order from the viewpoint of the human rights perspective, and this is how our Constitution is protected.
Supporting the ruling, Congress Karur MP S. Jothimani remarked, ‘the order is a proof of the fierce battle fought by Mr. Senthilbalaji and his firm resolve’.
“Not all will be compliant with the order and the administration. The leaders of the INDIA bloc should also demonstrated that they could defy such an approach and wean it,” she said.
