At 12:30 AM, Donald Trump jumped on Governor Shapiro of Pennsylvania with a Jewish suffix after mentioning him at the Democratic National Convention that took place last night. He called Shapiro “the highly overrated Jewish Governor” and alleged he wouldn’t admit that Donald has helped Israel.
Going to the social media platform known as Truth Social, in a post he wrote, “Josh Shapiro, the highly overrated Jewish Governor of the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania made a really bad and poorly delivered speech talking about freedom and fighting for Comrade Kamala Harris for President, yet she hates Israel and will do nothing but make its journey through the complexities of survival as difficult as possible, hoping in the end that it will fail. Judge only by her actions! Yet Shapiro, for strictly political reasons, refused to acknowledge that I am the best friend that Israel, and the Jewish people ever had. I have done more for Israel than any President, and frankly I have done more for Israel than any person, and it’s not even close. Shapiro has done nothing for Israel and never will. Comrade Kamala Harris, who stole the nomination from Crooked Joe is an even worse actor.”Israel is in BIG trouble!”
Governor Shapiro holds no foreign policy role as governor “has done nothing for Israel and never will,” according to Trump. The former president says he has been better towards Israel compared to all US Presidents or individuals in general.
Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social just after midnight that “Shapiro for strictly political reasons refused to acknowledge that I am the best friend that Israel, and Jewish people ever had.””I have done more for Israel than any President; actually I have done more for Israel than anyone else in history by far.”
Also arguing against Vice President Kamala Harris’ hate on Isrealites.
Many critics condemned his posting labelling it antisemitic.
In spite of facing a backlash from this statement; trump remains unrepentant in his defence of his record on Israel and positions himself as the most supportive leader the country has ever had, in contrast to what he portrays as the ineffectiveness of his political rivals.
Earlier today, speaking during the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro warned that if elected in November, former President Trump could take away Americans’ rights and freedoms. According to Shapiro, Donald Trump misrepresents freedom by saying “While he cloaks himself in the blanket of freedom, what he’s offering isn’t freedom at all.”
Dictating children’s reading materials, determining what women can do with their bodies and influencing elections are not actually forms of freedom; they are totalitarian acts that invalidate real democratic values and position the Democrats as advocates for true liberty.
Just days before this incident, Trump claimed that Kamala Harris did not select John Shapiro as her running mate because he was Jewish and was a victim to discrimination for it. In refutation of these sensational claims, Harris-Walz campaign denounced it saying it’s baseless. Responding to those allegations Shapiro also said Donald Trump lacks credibility here.
