'Giving the mic ole Hawk Tuah': Donald Trump's gesture during Wisconsin rally goes viral

In the final days leading up to the election, former US President Donald Trump and vice president Kamala Harris held duelling rallies in Wisconsin, just miles apart. However, it was a viral clip of Trump that stole the spotlight, thanks to a microphone mishap that led to some suggestive gestures.
Demonstrating his struggle with microphones throughout the rally, Trump said that the mic was either too far, too close, or too low, leading to the viral moment. Harris’ campaign on X posted the explicit gesture from the Wisconsin rally with a cryptic caption ‘?’.
Trump addressed the crowd, saying, “I come in and here is the problem, aww man this is too low, I say too low, so I had to go… Way too low,” before making the wild gesture..
The video sent social media into a frenzy. One user on X wrote, “He was giving the mic the ole Hawk Tuah!” Another commented, “It’s a strange, strange world out there…kids cover your eyes.”

Meanwhile, some defended Trump, with one user saying, “Microphone wasn’t working. It’s called having fun with the crowd ya.” Another added, “I can’t wait until Tuesday so this account (Kamala HQ) can get deleted. It’s so insufferable”

Trump kicked off his rally with enthusiasm, but the crowd soon became frustrated with the sound levels, chanting: “Fix the mic!” Trump eventually ripped the microphone from the podium to hold it closer to his mouth.
“I think this mic stinks,” Trump said. “And then we don’t pay the contractor. I say don’t pay the contractor then they write a story, Trump doesn’t pay his bills, he’s a bad guy.”
As the problems continued, Trump quipped, “You’ve gotta be kidding. Do you want to see me knock the hell out of people backstage?” The crowd cheered, and Trump continued, “I don’t mind if they want to come up a little forward or something but it’s a pretty stupid situation, but that’s OK.”
“I get so angry, I’m up here seething. I’m seething, I’m working my ass off with this stupid mic,” he added. “I’m blowing out my left arm. Now I’m going to blow out my right arm, and I’m blowing out my damn throat too, because of these stupid people.”
Trump concluded with a deal for the crowd: “Pretend you’re listening to it perfectly and I’ll come back and do another one… with a decent mic.”
