Domino’s pizza UK has come under criticism for posting an inappropriate post while trying to join the ‘Hawk Tuah’ trend on social media.
The company wrote in a post, “It’s Two For (Hawk) Tuahsday” referring to the viral Hawk Tuah girl and her comments that went viral on social media platforms.
Across various social media platforms, users attacked the Company. They said, “this is getting out of hand yall,” and “You guys shouldn’t be joking with hawk tuah lmao. Avoiding Domino’s for some time…”
While one user said, “I’ll take my pizza without the hawk tuah thanks” another commented, “Not the best advertisement for food btw.” One user wrote “Cringe.” Another person suggested that people should pack their bags because dominos ruined it by saying: “Pack your bags people, Domino’s ruined the meme,” another commented: “Wtf dominoes”.
Hailey Welch is the girl who became famous as a viral sensation identified as Hawk Tuah on Tim & Dee TV interview video from street. She replied when asked about a move that drives men crazy in this video. “You gotta give ’em that ‘Hawk Tuah’ and spit on that thang.”
Though details about Welch are scanty, she immediately gained fame leading to her cooperation with Fathead Threads situated in Tennessee by selling Hawk Tuah merchandise. Jason Poteete who owns Fathead Threads mentioned his long relationship with Welch and intentions of making her gain financially from her internet popularity.
