Divyanka Tripathi has responded to Krishna Mukherjee’s sexual harassment allegations against Kundan Singh, the producer of “Shubh Shagun”, saying that once he locked her in a make-up room. Previously, Divyanka and Krishna featured together in the famous Yeh Hai Mohabbatein program.

In an interview recently, Divyanka talked about Krishna Mukherjee’s claims against her series’ producer. According to Tripathi, when she first knew of it, she felt shocked and added that this is terrible behavior.
“This behaviour is appalling. I am shocked. I got to know about this when only somebody asked me about it in one of my last interviews. I was just shocked. How can this happen in today’s time? Our Union rules are very strong. Yes, earlier, I could have thought of something else. When we started our careers, at that time unions weren’t strong but today people are scared. They are scared of contracts. Besides this humanity! How can you lock one of your actors? There are other ways to deal,” Divyanka tells TellyChakkar.
Krishna Mukherjee – A television actress who became popular thanks to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein – started getting depressed as a result and blamed Shubh Shagun producers for everything wrong with her life.

31-year-old also said how ill she was during such incident when Star Plus serial makers locked her up inside a makeup room once upon a time because they wanted her health recovered quickly so film shooting goes smooth again later on as planned. She also blamed them for not giving her money and claimed that the production house owed her a “huge sum.”
Nevertheless, Kundan Sharma, the Shubh Shagun producer denied all Krishna’s accusations against him and defamed him instead. In his statement, Kundan lashed out at Krishna and accused her of “misleading” all by making false allegations.
Kundan later attacked Krishna in an interview, saying that Krishna said he threatened her earlier for the purpose of being in the limelight. The producer also noted that everyone is well respected on sets as he pointed out that “Krishna wants to prove herself as truthful, she is making up ten other lies.”
