Pali Hill, the illustrious residence of the late Bollywood star Dilip Kumar, has seen a new twist. The sea-facing bungalow designated for redevelopment in 2023 recently reached a great landmark when one of the triplex apartments was sold for an astonishing Rs 1.72 billion.
Many reports have it that Apco Infratech Private Limited owns this sprawling triplex spread over three floors on the 9th to11th floor of this under construction tower. This apartment with a carpet area of 9527 sq ft is valued at Rs.155 crore translating into an astronomical Rs.162000 per sq ft, which is among the highest per sq ft deals ever recorded in Pali Hill area. Finally, a sum of Rs.172 core comprises registration fee (Rs.30000) and stamp duty (Rs 93 lakh).
This reformation project called The Legend by Ashar Group will also feature fifteen luxurious apartments which will be mixtures of four and five bedrooms configurations known as BHKs. However, there will be a dedicated museum that spans 2,000 sq ft just right here—The Legend- celebrating his life and achievements.
Dilip Kumar’s association with Ashar Group dates back to 2016 when development agreement was signed for this ambitious project. In this year developers announced their plans regarding fifteen luxury flats along with its targeted completion date five years hence i.e., in 2027 itself but now they have taken upon themselves to add more luxuries in new apartments as well With the recent sale of triplexes estimates indicate that total sales could fetch approximately nine billion rupees for whole undertaking.
