On Tuesday, a Pakistani journalist suggested that India was involved in Donald Trump’s assassination attempt which resulted in injuring his right ear.
During a Pentagon press briefing, Jahanzaib Ali asked Pat Ryder if any foreign forces had participated in the shooting at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Sunday. Without mentioning names, Ali cited India’s alleged involvement in the assassination attempt of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun and Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case in Canada.
“Do you think that any foreign territory is involved in this kind of assassination attempt to create disturbance in this country?,” he asked Ali.
“Because we have also seen some news being broadcasted on media, anything like these news stories may be pointing to another possibility such as a recent foreign government interfering into US affairs by trying to assassinate an American here within New York and Canada,” he said.
In response, FBI and Secret Service were recommended for inquiries by Pat Ryder who is the Pentagon press secretary
Meanwhile, Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle agreed to testify regarding Trump’s assassination attempt that left the shooter and an attendee dead.
