KA Enterprises LLP, a company owned by the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and her father Prakash Padukone has successfully made a skyline real estate investment making a luxurious apartment purchase in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra West. As per the registration documents available with Square Yards the property situated within the Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society in the vicinity of Bandstand was purchased at INR 17.78 crore. According to Square Yards, out of total area of 171.47 square meters (~1846 Sqft.) that has been built up, the apartment has one car parking facility available under the scope of the purchase. The transaction has stamp duty liability of about 1.07 crores and other registration charges 30,000. The transaction took place in September 2024 and was completed in September 2024 and KA Enterprises LLP, one of the global venture investing firms wanting to invest in consumer and consumer tech companies which are high in growth.
In another transaction related to this in the very same month, Deepika’s mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani purchased another nearby apartment for INR. 19.13 Crores approximately. In the same month, this property, less than four walls 1,822.45 square feet (~169 square metres) carpet area also comes with one car parking. Duty for the deal was stamp as a bonita on fee for 95.68 lakh registration of rub 30,000.
It is noteworthy that Anju Bhavnani’s love nest on the day of the acquisition was let out to her daughter Ritika Bhavnani and husband Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani. This lease was executed in favor of R S Filmcraft (OPC) Pvt and Oh Five Oh Talent LLP for a tenure of 55 months. The said rent is for the first thirty three months rising by fifteen percent to ninety three thousand five hundred for the remaining 22 months. Also in the deal, the parties agreed for a security deposit of Rs. 73.80 lakh and stamp duty of Rs. 1.29 lakh. The said building bought by Padukone’s husband Ranveer Singh for Rs. 119 cores in 2022 comprises of several floors the husband has occupied even prior to this purchase.
Concurrently, Deepika Padukone and the co-founder of Anju Bhavnani’s business conglomerate: K. S. G. Bhavnani, have also made a plethora of property deals in Bandra West – a suburb hotter than hot of Bollywood actors and actresses. Square Yards reported that top Bollywood stars an eminent male actor Aamir Khan, Tripti Dimri and K. L. Rahul also joined, with recent transactions of real estate in this district of Rs. 9.76 crore Rs. 14 crore and Rs. 20 crore respectively to housing units occupied by nathiya shetty.
