Deccan Tollways Limited (DTL) partnered with Vadodara Bharuch Tollways Limited to build six class-rooms at Government Junior College Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district, Telangana as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative.
Vineesh Kumar Parayee, the head of regional operations of the company based in Bidar, inaugurated these newly built classrooms. He highlighted the necessity to improve educational infrastructure especially where quality education is scarce.
India’s education system has been plagued by high student drop-out rates; therefore, it is necessary to make sure that there is inclusive and equitable quality education. Deccan Tollways Limited DTL’s CSR initiatives are aimed at constructing infrastructure facilities for enabling effective learning outcomes.
The new structure has a ground-plus-two-floor structural strength that will support future vertical expansion of college facilities. These newly constructed classrooms aim to create an environment suitable for effective teaching and learning within them. The purpose of these classrooms is to drive forward educational progress so that students and teachers can thrive together.
