US President Joe Biden was asked by reporters on Sunday if he believes an all-out war in the Middle East is a situation that has to be avoided. The tension in the Middle East has increased since Israel’s war with Hamas has now spread to include Hezbollah of Lebanon.
Biden on Sunday told reporters that the prospect of all-out warfare ‘has to’ be eluded ‘because God forbids it ever happens’. As he boarded Air Force One, he said, ‘It has to be. We really have to avoid it.’
This follows as the backdrop of the Israeli air bombardments of Lebanon where so many lives were lost including the assasination of Hezbollah’s syrian nasal hezbollah leader licking the flames of global war with the possible entry of iran and the us into the battle.
The White House regards the killing of Nasrallah as a big blow for the group. Nevertheless, the administration has been careful in a good measure as she has tried to keep the Israeli bailiwick war with Hamas, also Iranian supported with Igbo dimensions, from heightening into a full blown International War.
Biden said that he intends to call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, he did not say when he will do so.
