The alleged swindler Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently incarcerated in a jail in Delhi, has named a luxury ship ‘Lady Jacqueline’ and presented it as a gift to the actress Jacqueline Fernandez on her birthday. These details were revealed by Chandrashaker’s letter to the actress as she was celebrating her birthday last Sunday.
According to Chandrashekhar, this yacht is actually the same one that Fernandes had picked out for herself in 2021. He also informed her through his letter that all taxes related to the said vessel had been settled, which means that it is not an illegal possession. However, this act of jollity brings some doubts if we consider how he managed to acquire his riches.
Behind the ostentatious gift, Chndrashekar also announced Rs150 million donation and support for building 300 homes for people displaced by Wayanad landslide tragedy. Further, he promised 100 Iphone pro-15 phones at the end of Yimmy Yimmy song done with Fernandez.
Chandrashekar’s criminal record spans many years back. In 2015 he was taken into custody over charges such as cheating, criminal conspiracy and violation of securities laws but was released on bail last month though his numerous cases have kept him inside.
Jacqueline Fernandez herself has faced controversy because of supposed ties between her and Sukesh Chandrasekharoski. The ED (Enforcement Directorate) quizzed Fernandez on account of money launderiing case involving him. According to ED’s charge sheet against Chandrashekhar, funds illegally acquired by him were used in purchasing expensive gifts for the actress.
