Digvijaya Singh, a senior Congressman has declared on Tuesday that he is covid positive through his handle. At present, he will be at rest and advised not to see anybody. He pleads with everyone to take care of themselves during the rainy season when one is more prone to contracting viruses.
The 77-year-old Rajya Sabha member took to social media for updating his health status.
“Digvijaya have tested Covid-positive; And since I was given sick leave for 5 days, we can’t visit now,” said “the Rajya Sabha member in the post “. ”So, you too stay away from COVID like other people are doing.” The last time it happened was in January 2022 when he tested positive.
This is the second time Congress leader has been infected by Covid-19. The first time was in January 2022.
Recently several politicians and Bollywood actors have tested positive, showing that despite all odds Covid still persists. In July actor Akshay Kumar’s test came out as Covid positive which made him miss business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani’s grand wedding with Radhika Merchant.
