Ranveer Singh, the film actor, has left his fans in suspense after his last movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The Karan Johar directed film however helped in breaking the jinx. But rumours kept going round that Ranveer’s upcoming projects either got shelved or delayed. Another of Ranveer’s project released recently was confirmed to be on hold, which is S Shankar’s Hindi version of Aparichit.
Shankar SPEAKS UP on Aparichit Remake
Pinkvilla recently sat down for an interview with S Shankar and he spoke about the rumors. He said there were initial plans to remake Aparichit with Ranveer Singh and clarified that it’s on hold at present. However, currently promoting Game Changer and Indian 2 (both will release in 2024), Shankar tells us that producers want a “bigger” film than Aparichit. He added that after finishing his current films, he would like to think about re-starting this movie.
According to him: “We had planned to make Aparichit in Hindi but then when I made that announcement a lot of movies came up. Our producers want me to do a movie bigger than Aparichit, so it is not yet ready . After these two movies are done then we can decide our steps.”
Meantime, Ranveer Singh is packed with commitments. Rohit Shetty’s Diwali release Singham Again sees him alongside an ensemble cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Also Don three will be the part of his list soon enough as well.
