Ramoji Rao, the media personnel and businessperson died at the age of 88 on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
My heart goes out to you in this time of grief, Mr. Ramoji Rao was an inspiration for me in fighting my battles and I really feel sorry for the family members of Mr. Ramoji and the entire Eenadu Group of Companies on this loss. May his soul rest in peace.
Condolences have been pouring endlessly from all quarters following the death, which he described as shocking, of Mr. Ramoji Rao to the family members. For many years, Mr. Ramoji Rao worked tirelessly for the Telugu Press and pray that his soul rests in peace.
Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu while condoling with us stated that “in some ways or another, The late Ramoji Rao was a great success.” He had a reputation for being well disciplined, punctual and hardworking; his service spanned many years towards promoting the Telugu language and culture.

Similarly,during those days he helped a lot of small artists who were struggling in Tollywood film industry as an editor.
It has been shown clearly by journalists like him that journalism is just not a job but it comes with some social responsibility. The elder brother kept on believing until very recently when he was admitted at one hospital because he thought maybe I would be coming back again but it is quite hurting to know that now he does not exist anymore. Dying-back person oh! Oh!

APCC President Y.S Sharmila said in her statement ‘The death of Mr. Ramoji Rao, a warrior of letters, a distinguished man who achieved great achievements in many fields and was an inspiration to future generations, is deeply saddening. My condolences go out to his family.’
