Zhong Yang, 52, the governor and deputy secretary of Qiannan Prefecture who studied ‘history’ in colleges has no fruitful family support. She joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 22 and later became a deputy of the Central National Congress National People’s Congress PMC, the publication said.
But in January of this year, a documentary released by Guizhou Radio and Television dishes the dirt and states that heathen allegations of corruption regarding Zhong were true, having managed to obtain panstain legally protected shift bribes and even guaranteed such companies government contracts for money. Some such as she sanctioned turning over some 170,000 square meters of land in some high-tech industrial zone to the businessman with whom she had personal relations.
Allegations were also made against Zhong that she had affairs with 58 of her male subordinates. Some of those included in the said relationpd did so voluntarily and promised her placr compensation while some others did so under duress because of her influence. Such relationships were usually carried out under the pretexts of business trips, “out of the office” overtime, etc.
She has been in custody since April 2023 and by September, she has already been removed from her positions in office, excluded from the Communist party membership, and dismantled her position in the People’s National Congress.
Zhong, however, reportedly did not come to feel any remorse over the behavior.
As stated, they hated themselves becasue of their own warriors for stating: I can’t look at my colleagues, my family or those leaders who sat at the head and were cared for and brought up. This frightens me. What a disgrace and what a disgrace.” SCMP reported it from her.
