Because of rainfall in many parts of Karnataka’s district number one Chikkamagaluru valley administration is requesting travelers to postpone their movements beyond August 15 or until further notice.

In view of the above situation, she also implored visitors to stay clear off water bodies for now and put off hiking engagements. She ordered proprietors of homestays as well as resorts to stop accepting bookings.
