On June 22, the Ministry of Education created a high level committee of experts which will be headed by K. Radhakrishnan, who is former ISRO chief to ensure that examinations are conducted in the most transparent manner through the National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to the Ministry’s Department of Higher Education, the seven-member panel will advise on reforming examination mechanisms, enhancing data security protocols and NTA structure and operations.
The ministry also said that within two months this group will have produced its report for examination.
Professor B J Rao, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Hyderabad and Randeep Guleria, immediate past director AIIMS Delhi are members.
