Three big films, Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein and Stree 2 have been scheduled to be released this year on the Independence Day. Parami News had reported first in Vedaa and Stree 2 about these cuts.
This article is exclusive because it will give you all the details of the cuts made by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Khel Khel Mein.
EXCLUSIVE: CBFC censors ‘b****d’ and ‘son of a bh’ from Khel Khel Mein
According to the cut list presented by the CBFC’s Examining Committee, no visual cuts were asked for. However, two cuss words; ‘b****d’ and ‘son of a bh’, were requested to be muted. It is not established if these abuses are muted or replaced. However, people will not hear them abused at all.
After this changes are made, the U/A certificate was given to Khel Khel Mein by CBFC. The film makers were handed over with the censor certificate on August 8th. On the censor certificate mentioned that its duration is 134 minutes and seven seconds which means it takes 2 hours 14 minutes and 7 seconds for it to end.
It stars Fardeen Khan Akshay Kumar, Aditya Seal, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal Tapsee Pannu Ammy Virk among other actors. The movie hits cinema halls on August 15th and has been helmed by Mudassar Aziz; director of Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha. This is a remake of an Italian film Perfect Strangers in 2016 .
Before unveiling the trailer for their movie Khel Khel Mein, the song “Hauli Hauli” was released by its team in a remarkable event. In this regard, Ammy Virk made everyone laugh when he said “Akshay Paaji used to dine with us as our senior. When the most senior person treats all people with love and kindness then there’s nothing better than it. He has this habit that everybody must have lunch together. Pragya would order fish, Vaani ne kuch alag mangaya hota tha. Akshay paaji ne bhi kuch mangaya hota tha. I am the biryani saag type. We would eat from their plate.”
He also revealed that, ”She is a heroine so she eats healthy! But she even had biryani or took from Akshay paaji’s plate.”
Concluding his talk, Ammy Virk stated that, ”It was also a very chilled atmosphere over there. Khaana khaane gaye the hum toh aur film bana ke aa gaye maze maze mein!”
