The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has accused the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) of targeting only specific encroachments and called for it to act against Congress leaders’ encroachments as well.
In a statement, the BRS spokesman, Manne Krishank listed off some properties belonging to Congress leaders, all being alleged encroachments in Hyderabad and asked why the agency was not taking any action on these. In this context, he referred to different situations at hand that made him wonder as to why certain farmhouses, residences, resorts including minister’s one; two ex-ministers; present MLAs; former MP were built in lake buffer zones but they are not attended by HYDRAA.
He demanded that HYDRAA treats all encroachments (structures) equally regardless of the political affiliation of their owners.
