Earlier this week, it was announced that the teaser of the much-anticipated horror movie Stree 2 would be released on Friday June 14. We had also informed readers that the teaser would first come out withMunjya in theaters and later have a digital launch. They have kept their word and today, they have attached the Stree 2 teaser to prints from their new release. What has made moviegoers sit up is how Tamannaah Bhatia makes an unexpected appearance in the teaser.
The teaser does not give much away about the plot but one thing is for sure: The makers of this film have raised the bar when it comes to scariness. The teaser ends on a funny note, involving a scared shitless Rajkummar Rao. In middle, Tamannaah Bhatia can be seen in a blink-and-miss-it role. Also highlighted in the trailer is a dance number that possibly revolves around her too. However, netizens are perplexed because it’s only shown in long shot for few seconds. But what’s prominent here is her trying to pose as frightened as possible.” This is why fans’ clubs of these actresses are already posting her still from teaser all over.’

Stree’s first part was released in 2018 featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor which marked the inception of Maddock Supernatural Universe. The horror-comedy started big and went ahead to collect Rs12990 crore at domestic box office. In Bhediya(2022), Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon were featured while Munjya (2024) starred Sharvari and Abhay Verma.Interestingly, Varun appeared excitingly as a cameo in Munjya while Rajkummar Rao made special appearance in Bhediya.
Stree 2 will see Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor returning with Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Its director is Amar Kaushik and it will release in theaters on August 30th.
