JJP leader and Janata Party leader wrote this today demanding the BJP be made accountable in the Haryana Legislative Assembly while it conducts a field test of the government. In that letter, the BJP leader said that his party does not support the ruling BJP government and would back any other party willing to form a government.
Dushyant Chautala ( Dushyant Chautala wrote: “In light of these developments and BJP’s open stance against continuing support for the present regime and its readiness to assist another political outfit to form an alternative administration, it is evident now that the current government does not have control over The MLA also asked for floor tests to know if Nayab Sigh Saini has 45 votes or a majority of those present in the house as well as whether there are others who can claim majority support
Three independent MLAs pulled out their supports, thereby creating more problems for BJP in Haryana.
“Now, Congress will have to take this step (calling for Lok Sabha test). A floor test can be ordered by Governor when he is satisfied that it is necessary for determining whether or not a Chief Minister enjoys majority support,” Sheela said.
On May 7, three independent MPs – Randhir Golan from Pendri, Dampal Gondal from Nilohri and Chhadar – Dadri’s Sombir Singh Sangwan – withdrew their supports to CM Nayab Singh Saini’s Government and decided to extend it towards Congress.
However, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini denied any problem with his government. Similarly, former Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar who was once his predecessor has stated through media interview that few Congress MLAs were still contacting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members hence nobody should worry.
