Like several other channels, &TV has also decided to introduce a new show adding to the list of shows and this time, they intend to launch a social drama. The show Bheema tries to fight in line with the undertakings of the great Dr. Ambedkar. In the 1980s, the upcoming 2019 series will be set in Bheema which is produced by Raj Khatri Productions.
The first look promo of the show was recently launched on social media where we see her struggling against injustice she faces for belonging to another community. Moreover, it focuses more on this young girl’s situation and how she battles for her rights. During all this, we shall witness some courageous moments when she has to tackle different adversities emanating from family, society and economic conditions as well as stigma based on gender and disability. Nevertheless, even in the face of numerous injustices and discriminations meted out upon her personage she bravely continues striving to overcome these obstacles.
Furthermore, the promo shows that Bheema is determined not only to honor Dr BR Ambedkar who drafted the Indian constitution but also commits herself towards serving the society regardless of any challenges that come along her way. This little girl commits herself heartily into it at an early stage. However, because they apprehend that their hegemony is being challenged by her pursuit; members of dominant group form an unprecedented alliance against Bhima’ s plans. Nevertheless, despite facing several impediments, Bheema remains resolute in his struggle because he understands that situations get worse before they get better.
The cast will feature young child artist Tejashwini Singh besides Smita Sable, Amit Bharadwaj or Neha Sharma among others. On 6th August 2019, the show will premiere ,and be seen from Monday through Friday at 8:30 pm on &TV channel .
