Vadra stressed that while his wife Priyanka and brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi were actively working for the party, Pitroda’s statement provided an opportunity for the BJP to “raise unnecessary questions”
Vadra however said that he was shocked by the comments of Sam Pitroda as such remarks were not expected from him.

“How can a person with such an education say something like this? I completely disagree with what Sam Pitroda said,” Wade told ANI news agency. “Bakwas ki hai”. He was very close to Rajiv Gandhi but he should have some responsibility.”
