While many lives have been turned around through the social media platform as a boon to their career, there has been extensive trolling which sometimes celebrities may face and they have stated this in several occasions. This was the case for actress Harshaali Malhotra, who played Munni in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The young star is now in 10th Std/Grade and she had to put up with a lot of trolls on the platform. These people were blaming her for not attending school, while focusing mostly on other things apart from academics like dancing; then she responded to these allegations by creating and posting a video on social media.

Bajrangi –Bhaijaan actress takes on her haters with proof that she scored 83% in board exams despite ignoring studies

A few hours ago, Harshaali Malhotra shared a video on social media showing some of the typical comments made by people asking her why she doesn’t concentrate on books or even if she goes to school at all. “Boards hai padh lo… Reel banake exams paas nahi hoti hai… kathak class jati ho aur reel hi banati ho (Boards are here, study… No one passes exams by making reels…. You only go to Kathak classes and make reels)”, “Pura din reel hi banati ho Kya? Padhti bhi ho ya nahi (You make only reels the entire day? Do you even study?)”, “Kathak class jaogi toh pass kaise hogi (if you keep going to kathak classes, how will you pass)?”, “School jaati bhi ho ya nahi (do you even go to school)?” Overwhelmed by happiness Harshali is seen celebrating her birthday with a piece of cake. At least she thanked them in this clip though.

Moreover, responding to these trolls in the caption, Harshaali wrote, “From perfecting my Mudras to acing my academics, I managed to strike the perfect balance between my Kathak classes, Shoots and Studies. And the result? An impressive 83% score! Who says you can’t have your feet in both the reel and real world? A heartfelt thank you to everyone who believed in me and continues to offer their unwavering support”.

In spite of all the accolades she received for her intense portrayal of Munni in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Harshaali Malhotra had always valued education above everything else.
