Today, Bad Newz, the much-anticipated film premiered in theaters and made a successful debut. This happened because of an excellent response to the trailer and songs, funny subject matter, and good cast Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. Anyone who would dare to come out of his/her house for any other movie other than this comedy will definitely miss some Bollywood movies or their melodies that are referenced here as we can see quite a number in the trailers like dialogues on Katrina Kaif, Tiger Shroff etc. but there’s a lot more in the film.

One of those funny scenes is when a character jokingly mentions an Indian motion picture Kabir Singh that came out last year. In this scene, however, they make a very funny comment on some of Kabir Singh’s most controversial moments. It was spoken at an important moment during the press screening in Mumbai yesterday night where it was met with clapping and whistling.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed blockbuster Animal which starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor Rashmika Mandanna et al included Triptii Dimri who coincidentally also stars in Bad Newz. She has been doing some amazing work from her debut but; it was only after Animal that she became very popular among many people. Due to this movie she got names “national crush” or “Bhabhi 2.” Thus, during one crucial scene where the character refers to Saloni Bagga (Triptii Dimri), Bad Newz has used these terms humorously.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk other casts include Neha Dhupia and Sheeba Chadha while appearances are done by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma – Bad Newz is directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar and Dharma Productions, Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Singh Bindra of Leo Media Collective Pvt Ltd and Manish Menghani of Amazon Prime.
