Could Baahubali actor Sathyaraj be the villain in Salman Khan’s Sikandar? Here is what we know.
Next Eid, Salman Khan lovers have a lot to expect with the announcement of his Sikandar action thriller film. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film will come out on Eid 2025 and will star Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna. According to a recent report published by journalist and producer Chithra Laksmanan, it is claimed that South Indian actor Sathyaraj familiar as Kattappa from Baahubali will be playing the villain in Sikandar, but an official confirmation from its makers is still awaited.
In a recent interview with Times of India, director AR Murugadoss hinted at the film’s content. He described Sikandar movie as high voltage action packed with emotions and a strong social message behind it. Murugadoss also mentioned about how pan-India the film would be and promised audiences that they would see different side of Salman Khan for once.
Murugadoss disclosed that he had earlier discussed this project with Salman Khan five years ago but due to some unseen circumstances things could not work out. In addition, very recently after fresh narration Salman showed renewed interest in this project which lead to green signal within no time.
Sikandar is shaping up as an epic production; according to earlier reports from Pinkvilla it is understood that the movie will be filmed in Portugal and other European countries besides places from India too. With reports that its budget stands at Rs 400 crores, Sikandar happens to be one of Sajid Nadiadwala’s most ambitious projects so far.
