A proven partnership in horror comedy

Dinesh Vijan has created a lot of excitement with his movies like Stree, Bhediya and Munjya in the horror comedy genre. Additionally, his latest project “Vampires of Vijay Nagar” reunites him with Aditya Sarpotdar who directed Munjya. This collaboration promises to bring a fresh and exciting narrative to the horror-comedy landscape.

The Stars’ Power: Ayushmann and Rashmika

PinkVilla revealed that Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna will lead the movie. Khurrana had worked with him before on Bala; thus, they share a great working relationship. “Ayushmann Khurrana and Dinesh Vijan have been discussing Vampires of Vijay Nagar for a while now and are all set to take the film on floors by the end of this year,” said a source close to development.

Unique characters and surprising arcs

Both Khurrana and Mandanna will have surprising arcs that differ from one another according to this insider. Consequently, fans cannot wait to see what these two talented actors can achieve in their first outing together. “The script is presently in the writing stage and will soon get into the pre-production stage,” explained our informant.

Busy schedules before shooting starts

Before they start filming Vampires of Vijay Nagar in November both actors have busy schedules to complete. Khurrana is wrapping up an untitled spy comedy produced by Karan Johar after which he will go into production for Border 2 directed by Anurag Singh. In the meantime, Mandanna is completing her portion in Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun and Sikandar opposite Salman Khan.

Expanding the Horror Comedy Universe

After Stree 2 released on August 15th this year, Vampires of Vijay Nagar would be another exciting addition to Vijan’s horror-comedy universe.
