The DMK supporting members, who were present at the diamond jubilee function of the party at Chennai on September 17, were spectacularly entertained when M. Karunanidhi who passed away earlier, was animated on stage using augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
The audience was given another one-minute augmented reality concept where MLA/Karunanidhi is shown being seated next to DMK president and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin in a big chair at the front row centre stage.
Everyone, including cadres and functionaries, responded excitedly when they heard the ex-leader’s voice, revived by the help of artificial intelligence say ‘En uyirinum melaena anbu udanpirappugale.. (Dear brethren who are valued above my life..).
In the video, one of the most praiseworthy comments was directed towards Mr. Stalin for his successful leadership of the Political party.
Speaking further, he affirmed: ‘I stand by Comrade Stalin, who although does not shy away from the ideology of ‘Periyar’, the principles stated by Anna, and the pride that I instilled; works to consolidate the party into power. The name Stalin conjures up the idea of hard work. Stalina operates in the party work for 55years now. He excels as Chief Minister of the country. He is efficient in running the party by practicing, secularism, fraternity, and social justice. I hope , and thank him for accepting and honouring self-respect, language and ethnicity of Dravidian culture.’
