Athiya Shetty & KL Rahul join hands to raise funds for Vipla Foundation.
Rahul and Athiya have arranged a special cricket auction where these game idols would give something personal away and call for financial assistance towards the foundation. Speaking about her involvement in this project Athiya expressed: “Vipla Foundation has been an integral part of my childhood days. After school lessons that turned into teaching kids numerous times. With this auction I am hoping to carry on my Nani’s legacy who started Vipla Foundation keeping children with hearing impairment and intellectual disabilities in mind”.
“My first visit to the school was highly emotional and those children inspired me so much that I wanted to help by any means possible as part of Athiya’s family which has been associated with this great initiative. The auction is our way of supporting the incredible work that Vipla Foundation does in providing a great learning environment to children. When I reached out to the cricket fraternity they were just as supportive in donating their precious cricket objects to this great cause.” added her husband who is well known cricketer KL Rahul.
I hope you appreciate how it is impossible not to fall under their spell. The auction will be used to fund the work which Vipla Foundation carries out in creating a very good learning atmosphere for children. When I spoke with cricketing fraternity, they were equally supportive in donating their precious cricket stuff for this noble course. “By participating in the auction and bidding for the memorabilia, each bidder is joining us in making a difference in the lives of these truly special children” opined KL Rahul, her spouse and famous cricketer. So what are you waiting for?
