APCC Social Media and IT Chairman Ratul Kalita said in a complaint filed at Bhangagarh police station in Guwahati that the account was hacked around 4 am on Wednesday.
The official X account of the Assam Congress was allegedly hacked on Wednesday and the profile name was changed to “Tesla Incident” and the profile picture to the logo of US electric car maker Tesla.
The Assam Congress Committee lodged a complaint with the police seeking the arrest of the killers.
In a post posted on Safety.
“The government’s attempts to suppress will not stop us. We remain true to our principles and will continue to work to tell the truth. Thank you for your unwavering support. Stay strong, we will not be silenced,” the APCC said.
APCC social media and IT chairman Ratul Kalita said in a complaint filed at Bhangagarh police station in Guwahati that the account was hacked around 4 am on Wednesday.
“This Twitter (sic) account has a lot of data about our party, through which we have reached hundreds of thousands of people. I demand that the culprit be arrested for this… malicious intent,” he added.
