The Windsors have been having a tough time in the aftermath of King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis as many things have changed as well within the institution. Since the King is undergoing treatment for cancer and is confined mainly to the background as Prince William shares the mantle of responsibility with him, it has been quite a sea change in the royal dynamics.
Tackling the royal family duties from the front line, William who is the firstborn is now playing an even more active role with Queen Camelia’s assistance as Kate Middleton goes on a recovery break.
For Prince Harry, this change is particularly difficult. With his father in charge even if only temporarily and with a short shelf life for this family there is something that harry desperately craves for and it is the reconciliation with them. He is aware that his career as a global advocate would bore no fruits if there were no peace agreements with the family.
As reported by Tom Sykes for the Daily Beast, it is known that Meghan Markle is happy and is in no hurry to end unfriendly relations with the British royal family whilst Harry does not want to be a small player in the endless family war. He wished to rebuild the bridges and to come back as a serious philanthropist he knew himself to be.
A royal insider remarked that Harry was under the impression that he had a sizable gap- maybe twenty years- with Charles as the last arbiter so as to mend their rift. The story suggests it is not without reason: there is a chance that if Harry manages to achieve peace with Charles then William will have no option than to comply. This potential argument for reconciliation is further supported by Charles’ love for his ‘darling boy’ Harry.
Earlier, royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox news that an order like that is likely to be withdrawn by the King if he decides to see Harry, a statement that corresponds to the grief the King has on the disintegration of his family. In contrast however Prince William’s role as the family’s war head seems to have been really bowing undertransformative Jupiter. He himself remains unforgiving to Harry for unforgivable actions in the past which blocks any avenues for reconciliation.
Had Prince Harry been cognizant on how the monarchy would turn out in the future, his demeanor, his spilling the beans on the family for instance, would have been consistent with such knowledge. Sources reveal that William’s strict stance on Harry’s return— has added another layer of complexity in the potential reconciliation in the royal family. In other words, while Charles’s quick connection with the personal aspect and legacy would allow him to envisage there is common ground for William and others, it cannot be so for them when it comes to Harry returning home.
