Rajkumar Hirani, the Munna Bhai director is uniting with Arshad again for his much-anticipated web series. The thriller on cyber-crime tentatively titled Pritam Pedro will also have Vikrant Massey in the lead role. This marks Hirani’s first step into digital content as a showrunner/ producer of this project while his assistant director Aamir Satyaveer Singh will direct the series.
According to Mid-Day, the series which premieres on Disney+ Hotstar revolves around two eccentric cyber-cops named Pritam and Pedro who are played by Vikrant Massey and Arshad Warsi respectively. (The source from the creative team said,) “This is unlike the comedy series that Rahju sir is known for. However he has put some of his unique sense of humor into this television crime drama”. “He is likely even to direct some episodes personally.”
Pedro (Arshad Warsi) has more traditional ways of fighting crimes since he’s seasoned cop. On the other hand, Pritam (Vikrant Massey), a young computer genius uses innovative techniques when investigating cases.” The shooting time would begin in November under a normal circumstance. Initially, location scouts were stationed in north India but finally settled on Goa’s coastal state because of its picturesque nature. Furthermore, other shots take place in Pune as well as Mumbai too.
