Veteran actor Annu Kapoor is making headlines at the moment due to his controversial new film Hamare Baarah. The movie was criticized even before its release. But this has not deterred the actor. The film will be out in all theaters across the country on June 21st. After the court allowed him to proceed with his movie, Annu Kapoor carried out a press conference involving his entire team members. During that time he refused to recognize Kangana Ranaut and BJP MP.

“What does it mean by this Kangana?” asked Annu Kapoor.
When asked about the ‘slap incident’ relating to Kangana Ranaut at a press conference during Hamare Baarah. Annu Kapoor said that I know none of these names mentioned above by anyone here. He further went on to say; “Who is this Kangana? Is she a big heroine? Is she beautiful?”
At that time, one journalist told him that Kangana recently won an election from Mandi and now she is an MP also. To this shocking reaction came from Annu Kapoor who murmured “Oh she has become that too”. However, he supported her in what happened and stood by her side as well in reference to the slap happening between them. In addition, a video of this press conference has gone viral on social media eliciting responses from both fans and critics alike.
For those who do not know or have no idea about it. There was a scary incident involving Kangana at Chandigarh airport where she was slapped by a CISF constable during security checking. Ranaut was going for Delhi meeting when it happened.
Going back to the film itself. Hamare Baarah’s release was stop halfway through but Bombay High Court cleared the way for its release. The court dismissed petitions challenging the movie saying that it did not find anything in the content of the film which is offensive to Muslims or Qur’an.
