Anil Kapoor is going to play the head of R&AW in the YRF Spy Universe curated by Aditya Chopra. This actor joins a large group of other famous artists such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan including him. For the past ten years, Aditya Chopra has converted the YRF Spy Universe into not just some top IP but one of the most gigantic ones for Indian cinemas with highest billboards.

Multi-film contract
According to Pinkvilla’s report, Anil Kapoor has entered into a multi-film deal with YRF Spy Universe. “Anil Kapoor was fascinated by the vision of Aditya Chopra for spy universe and immediately inked on dotted lines sans wasting any time,” informed an insider to publication. The journey starts from his appearance in War 2 together with stars like Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr. and Kiara Advani that is followed by Alpha where Alia Bhatt and Sharvari would be seen and ultimately leads to Pathaan 2 starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Spy universe mainstay
By heading R&AW, Anil Kapoor’s role will make him a recurring character throughout all spy films within this universe. A few films are being created in the expanding YRF Spy Universe at the writing wing of YRF: one is Tiger vs Pathaan featuring Salman Khan facing off with Shah Rukh Khan which is highly awaited among others.

Next up for theatrical exhibition from YRF is War 2 directed by Ayan Mukerji due on August 15th2025. Then there will be Alpha helmed by Shiv Rawail being its first women-led saga coming out hereafter while the timeline of Pathaan 2 is currently under suspense but has been written and will take off in 2025 second half.
