Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar convened with senior executives of various Renewable Energy(RE) companies under the Indian Wind Power Association on October 3 to prioritize crucial issues raised by potential investors in regard to the A.P. Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024 and generation based incentives, late payment surcharges, capacity utilization factor, and tax pass-through, among others .
At the time Mr. Ravi Kumar remarked that the government is looking at the power sector in a different manner, improving it and taking advantage of RE potential unlike the previous government whose strategies did a lot of harm to the State’s image and reputation.
After maintaining a steady low position in the Ease-of-doing-Business the state government stressed on the desperately required Speed-of-doing Business, he said further that the impact of the Power Purchase Agreement and the subsequent litigations was being looked into and necessary action was being taken.
