Call Me Bae, an eight-part series is made by the Dharmatic entertainment production and it will have a worldwide premiere on September 6. Its executive producers include Karan Johar, Somen Mishra, and Apoorva Mehta while Ishita Moitra created it and Collin D’Cunha directed it. Ananya Panday stars in the series as Bella ‘Bae’ Chowdhary as her debut performance in an Original series for streaming.
An ensemble cast of Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur alongside Ananya Panday are starring in this series. Call Me Bae would be exclusively available across more than 240 countries and territories across the world including India through Prime Video for its release to all Prime members.
Samina Motlekar wrote Call Me Bae along with Ishita Moitra and Rohit Nair which is about Bae who loses her inheritance to become a street smarts hustler who doesn’t know that her diamonds are not important but rather how she represents herself. Broke but refusing to be broken; she makes it through the newsrooms of Mumbai finding better halves of people and herself.
