The famous actor Amitabh Bachchan has augmented his property-holdings with the buy of three office units worth Rs 59.58 crore in Mumbai. The offices are located in the renowned Signature Building on Veera Desai Road, Andheri, which underlines the Bollywood’s significant investment into the commercial real estate.

Transaction Details
The area covered by the combined units numbered 2701, 2801 and 2901 is 8,429 square feet. Alongside are three car parking slots under the deal with Veer Savarkar Projects Pvt Ltd. The information available at FloorTap.com indicates that a stamp duty of Rs 3.57 crore was paid by Bachchan. While registration of this transaction was done on June 20th, 2024.
Recent Real Estate Ventures
This acquisition is part of a series of big money property investments made by Bachchan this year. For instance, earlier in 2024 he acquired land worth Rs 10 crores in Alibaug and reportedly went on to buy another parcel there for Rs 14.5 crores.
Another one doing business within real estate is his son Abhishek who is also an actor in Bollywood movies. According to reports from Oberoi Realty, Abhishek recently purchased six apartments for INR (Rs) 15.42 crore each at Borivali’s Oberoi Sky City project. These units measure a total space of 4,894 sq ft and have been supplemented by a pack of ten car parks. This transaction was confirmed on May 28th, 2024 at a rate of Indian Rupees 31,498 per sq ft. Which is typical for one of Mumbai’s most prestigious suburbs.

Meanwhile speaking about his professional life Amitabh Bachchan is all set to release his long-awaited movie, Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. It is also scheduled to be shown at Cinemas on June 27th, 2024.
