Part 1 of Pushpa, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 (2021), had a silent release but later emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times. Allu Arjun’s swagger, punch dialogues, cliffhanger climax and the chartbuster songs ensured that it reached far and wide. It also features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Rao Ramesh.
The first film tells about a pauper who becomes a laborer for red sandalwood smugglers. Gradually he takes over their entire syndicate. It ends with the hero humiliating his rival police officer and swearing to take revenge on him some day.
